WHY “THAI STATION”?

A station is a place where people come and go — a stop along the way.

That’s how we imagine Thai Station: your neighborhood stop for good Thai food.

The train in our identity represents movement, connection, and a journey that brings the flavors and memories of Thailand to Portland. Just like a station brings people together from different places, we want Thai Station to be a place where people can stop by, enjoy a good meal, and continue on with their day.

Inspired by Everyday Thailand

Thai Station was created from a simple idea: to share the kind of Thai food we grew up loving — comforting, flavorful, casual, and made to be enjoyed any day of the week.

In Thailand, some of the best meals aren’t complicated. They might come from a small neighborhood restaurant, a street-side vendor, or your favorite food stall on the way home. You order a familiar dish, find a seat, and enjoy something freshly made, full of flavor, and satisfying.

That everyday experience is the inspiration behind Thai Station.

Our menu is influenced by the food culture of Thailand, especially the energy and flavors of Bangkok. You’ll find comforting noodle soups, stir-fried noodles, rice dishes, crispy bites, aromatic curries, and other Thai favorites — all prepared with the bold and balanced flavors we love.

A Place for Everyday Thai Food

We want Thai Station to feel easy and approachable.

Stop by for a quick lunch. Pick up dinner on your way home. Bring a friend and stay for a meal. There doesn’t need to be a special occasion — sometimes you just want really good Thai food.

Our approach is simple: make food we’re proud to serve, use quality ingredients, stay true to the flavors we love, and keep things welcoming and uncomplicated.

No unnecessary extras. No complicated concept.

Just Thai food we love, made for Portland.

Stop by. Grab a bite. Enjoy the ride.
